Dr. Kapoor (Also known as Kelly amongst her peers) is a Board-certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as proud NYU Alumni licensed in New Jersey and New York. She works with individuals and families to address mental health needs with cultural sensitivity, including diagnosing patients and implementing plans of care. She has 15 years experience in healthcare and is an active listener of patient’s issues and problems. She studies patients’ relevant medical history, performs comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations, and identifies risk factors that might affect patient’s mental health. Her certification and license is to treat patients across the lifespan and at this time in the practice, she sees patients of all ages through telehealth/in person/ in senior care facilities.She offers med management as well as psychotherapy.
